Grief Suppport
Ministering to the bereaved (those suffering the death of a loved one) is an important ministry in the Church. The Grief Support group of the Newman Center offers support through several sessions offered each year.
It also hosts an Evening of Remembrance near Christmas when families can gather to remember those who have died through prayer, song and a special candle lighting ceremony.

Prayer Chain
If you have a particular prayer need, the Prayer Chain offers support by having a number of people pray for you. The Prayer Chain is activated by a phone call to the parish office which is then forwarded to the phone number of the coordinator. Each person on the Prayer Chain is then contacted.
