It is with great joy that I serve as the Director of Religious Education at Saint Paul Newman Center. I have a strong connection with the parish personally and I possess a professional background which assists me with meeting the religious education needs of our community. My heart has always been with catholic education. The experiences and influences I obtained while attending twelve years of Catholic school in the San Francisco Bay Area provided me with the foundation I needed to pursue a career in education. I possess a Masters Degree in Education with an administrative/supervisory emphasis. I also have a multiple subject teaching credential with a B.A in Liberal Studies. My teaching experience has included positions with the State Center Community College District, Clovis Unified School District, and the Diocese of Fresno. I have been a parishioner at the Newman Center since 1996. I began work as a volunteer catechist for the parish that same year and served that role for ten years. My three children and I have been actively involved in this church community as well as various ministries.
