My family and I have been members of the Newman Center since we moved to the Fresno area in 1988. At the Newman center I have taught CCD and Confirmation. I have been on various committees with the most notable being the Renaissance Festival.
I have been the Newman wedding coordinator for about six years. This is probably the most fun job at the Newman Center. Everyone is always happy and love is always in the air. It is amazing how many weddings we have here; in fact we have so many that I now have two assistants, Cristina and Sarah. It is just wonderful how many people want to put Christ into the center of their marriages.
My husband, Pat and I have been married since 1976 and have three children. Our years at the Newman center have made us feel at home, and we wouldn’t think of being anywhere else.
